At TMC, students get the opportunity to learn and participate with the Thai culture and Thai community. TMC encourage students to give back to the community where they come and learn the ancient knowledge. GCT party 12 Aug 05: GCT interns and staff farewell dinner and share there love to each other. Special 1 day training class for visitors from Spain 18-8-05: The short course is for basic Thai massage for relaxation. Everyone enjoy the day at TMC. Applying the Knowledge Community students provide Thai Foot Massage at the court house district during the “Rapee week” first week of Aug. 05 to honor the father of the justice system in Thailand. Community students provide Thai Foot Massage to visitors during visit days and earn money for applying knowledge to work. ワイクルー：教師祈願 2005年6月16日にＧＣＴコースがスタートし、ワイクルーを行いました。 ワイクルーとは、私達が生きていく上で、すべての教師達に感謝し、尊敬するために祈りをささげるという儀式です。 新しいＧＣＴコースが始まるたびにこの神聖な義式を行っています。 2005年5月5日 オーストラリアの高校生30人にタイの文化を学んで頂く為のひとつとしてタイマッサージの基礎を学んでもらいました。 ソンカーンフェスティバル：2005年4月 学校終了後、水をかけあって遊ぶ学生やスタッフ達 コミュニティートレーニング：6月5日 拘留所にいる少年達は地域の人々にマッサージを施すことにより、 お金を得ることの大切さや人々に感謝される喜びを得ています。 Loy Kratong: Full moon 26 November 2004: The holy festival to honor the Buddha and pay respect to the river of life by prepare, decorate flower base with flower, candle, incense and float it in the river. TMC students learned how to make them and proudly finished them during their lunch break. Thai Massage Career Project for community at Ob Luang, National Park, Chiang Mai: TMC has been invited to teach special program aim to provide Thai massage career for 50 people in the community in August 2004. Director of the National Park hoped to create new jobs for local people by provide safe and effective Thai massage to tourist and people in the area. Enthusiastic students were farmers, housewives, carpenters, the park officials also joined the training. The Queen痴 Parade: TMC join Chiang Mai Cultural Department in cerebrating the Queen痴 72nd birth day with the parade of the longest jasmine lace in the world. The lace was prepared in the morning of 12th August 2004 by people and students around Chiang Mai for the evening parade. Career training for women from Akha: Winnie Cain from Akha Women痴 Foundation provided financial support for 4 Akha woman to attend the special career training at TMC. TMC offered further assistance to facilitate the training to the group in Sept.2004. The training was successful. One of the group continues apprentice at TMC. During practice: Graduation: TMC training in Malaysia: 31 May – 6 June 2004 TMC principal and a senior teacher performing workshop in Thai Massage and the use of herbal ball for spa massage at International Beauty Showcase 2004. Graduates of Thai Massage training and the use of herbal ball in spa at Jejari Spa Learning Center. Thai Massage Career Project at Chiang Mai University Feb-May 2004: TMC has been invited to teach new career in Thai Massage and Thai Foot Reflexology to nearly 100 people from different walk of life. The project received funding from TAT Tourism Authority Thailand with the goal to provide safe and effective Thai massage to the public and tourists. The project has been very successful. Graduates were able to seek jobs in massage field and set up massage business. TMC training in Taiwan: March 2004 TMC school director and senior teacher trained beautician staff of Anglee Cosmetic Co. for basic Thai Massage and the use of herbal ball in spa. Taiwan Reporters visited TMC to learn more about safe Thai massage and better understanding of available services and school in Chiang Mai.
