Wai Kruu: Teacher Prayer
Students and teachers joined in sacred ceremony "Wai Kruu" offered prayer to honor and respect to all their teachers in their lives. The ceremony is held once
a year to coincide with the Wai Kruu at Wat Nongyanang – to our monk teacher-.
TMC joined Teacher Prayer at the Juvenile Detention Facility to receive the childrens gratitude and respect on behalf of all TMC teachers and GCT training teachers in July 2007.

Visit the children and the members at Special People Foundation Chiang Dao Disabled Center. During the opening of the Children Rehabilitation Room.
TMC teachers took turn to train Comprehensive Thai Massage and other courses total 120 hours for 30 people at Tung Hou Health Care Center, Lumpang. The participants are from 12 villages. They have variety background such as one doctor, several nurses from the center, the town chief, health care volunteers, farmers, local workers etc. All students under took the one month class with the aim to help other people in their community. This is the pilot program of this province that approved and supported by the Thai Public Health Department.

TMC teachers pay respect and receive - review and further training in therapeutic Thai massage from our great teacher "Arjan Tuan": Direct disciple for nearly 30 years from our Monk Teacher.
TMC team visited stroke (partial paralysis) patients at the temple compound. They perform self exercise; receive massage therapy and herbal steam.
TMC team visited the famous Wat Tung Boa Pan, Lumpang – known for treating stroke patients. The temple is well organized treatment set up. They receive massage with herbs and herbal bath.
The patients stay at the temple with relatives at the apartments.
The patients receive exercise from equipments under physical therapist and the temple staff instruction.
TMC school welcome the Advisory to the Minister of Education Department and the
Specialists and Educators from the Private Education Department team with Thai media from national newspapers and education TV station. The visit is to promote the selected private schools with effective management and high standard of teaching and curriculum to the public.
The Advisors to the Minister of Education Department present the diplomas to the graduated students for Intensive Professional Thai Massage 150 hour program.

Amazing result of GCT and TMC teachers training to 9 teens from the detention facility.
The girls studied 90 hour Thai massage training and volunteer to offer Thai massage to the disabled at Chiang Dao Disable Center in December 2007.
See the joy in the faces of the disabled members while receiving the love an caring from the girls.
The teens participated in the painting activity after giving massage sessions.
Eleven disabled signed up the first course in Thai massage training. They want to help each other with massage and with the dream of Thai massage for career.
The disability each one has does not deter them from making others happy.
Yogananda Foundation (Now Special People Foundation)
Yogananda Foundation continue self-reliance project for disabled people of Chiang Dao,
a city north of Chiang Mai (70 K.M.). Started October 2007 until early December 2007,
with less than 2 months time, there are over 80 disabled members join the Chiang Dao Center for the disabled. The center is under the support and direction of Yogananda Foundation provide place, services and activities for the member.
TMC provide support by giving massage service to the members. GCT and Intensive program interns went to the center and offered massage to the members with great result.
TMC will provide massage training to the members and the family members very soon.
The interns gave support during the disabled painting the Earth Bag.
TMC in cooperation with Yogananda Foundation by introduction of a former GCT graduate Anna Kuylaars to meet and work with Disabled People Group of Wang Nua, Lumpang to train parents how to apply Thai massage to help ease the tension for disabled children and adults at the Disabled People Group occupational training center from March 2007 to October 2007 with successful result. The members have improved their physical conditions, their living are much better financially and mentally. The center is financially stable and able to conduct the on going activities for the members.

The man with less legs but much hope Maetee , a father of 3 children,
who lost his legs from blood vessel problem received a motor-tricycle from Yogananda Foundation. He is a committee of the center. His duty is to help new members in contacting official agencies.
During the months of May to September 2007 TMC teachers have taught
Thai massage courses to various organizations and communities without charge.
Thai Massage Class for the teens:
GCT teachers from Leelawadee and Puttaraksa classes of 2007 taught Thai massage Level 1 to 20 girls at Juvenile Detention Facility. TMC teachers continued by teaching Level 2 and 3 to them. The 20 girls graduated with the diplomas that earned them to be able to perform Thai massage professional under the Thai Public Health requirement. Several of them will be release soon and plan to make a career in Thai massage.
Thai Massage Classes for Disabled People:
TMC teachers took turn to spend 3 weeks time training the Comprehensive of
Thai Massage 90 hour program to the 18 students at Wang Nua, Lumpang.
This is historical moment: Four of students are physically disabled and they completed the 15 days class with good result. The rest of the class is family members of the disabled children at the Disabled People Center Wang Nua.
Graduation:
Graduation time was the grand moment to them.
Almost none of them have received any formal training in any vocational school. Some have not even gone to school due to being disabled.
Several of them have earned income from their profession. The center plan to set up the massage service to the public at the center after the remodeling completes.
NOTE: TMC teachers plan to teach the Thai Foot Massage class for professional to the 18 disabled members later on.
Home Visit to Disabled Members:
TMC teachers visited the homes of the disabled people at Wang Nua and review therapeutic Thai massage with the family to help the disabled members.
Chiang Mai University:
TMC teachers received invitation to present a brief course about safety
in Thai massage to the graduate students at Chiang Mai University.
The out come was better understanding about Thai massage and health
to the young Thai generation.
Chair Massage:
TMC teachers received invitation to present a practical use of back massage
in a chair to the volunteer members of Jesuit Refugee Service Thailand.

motorcycle in Chiang Mai.
TMC teachers review Foundation of Thai Massage and Thai Foot Massage
to students at Juvenile Detention Facility. The students were trained by GCT intern teachers and now review to lessons prior to offering their massage service to the public outside the facility.
TMC welcome the visit by the 3 Directors of Center of Career Development, Labor Departments from 3 Provinces in January 2007.
TMC was so happy to greet old friends from Ban Sabai Massage Shop from Philippines
in January 2007. The owners had requested TMC teachers to train their staff for 3 trips
in the past 2 years.

Loy Kratong: Full moon November 2005-2007:
The holy festival to honor the Buddha and pay respect to the river of life
by prepare, decorate flower base with flower, candle, incense and float it
in the river. TMC students learned how to make them and proudly finished them
during their lunch break.

Thai Massage Career Project for community at Ob Luang, National Park, Chiang Mai:
TMC has been invited to teach special program aim to provide Thai massage career for 50 people
in the community in August 2004. Director of the National Park hoped to create new jobs for
local people by provide safe and effective Thai massage to tourist and people in the area.
Enthusiastic students were farmers, housewives, carpenters, the park officials also joined the training.
The Queens Parade:
TMC join Chiang Mai Cultural Department in cerebrating
the Queens 72nd birth day with the parade of the longest jasmine lace in the world.
The lace was prepared in the morning of 12th August 2004 by people and students around Chiang Mai for the evening parade.
Career training for women from Akha:
Winnie Cain from Akha Womens Foundation
provided financial support for 4 Akha woman to attend the special career training at TMC.
TMC offered further assistance to facilitate the training to the group in Sept.2004.
The training was successful. One of the group continues apprentice at TMC.

Thai Massage Career Project at Chiang Mai University Feb-May 2004:
TMC has been invited to teach new career in Thai Massage and Thai Foot Reflexology to nearly 100 people from different walk of life. The project received funding from TAT Tourism Authority Thailand with the goal to provide safe and effective Thai massage to the public and tourists. The project has been very successful. Graduates were able to seek jobs in massage field and set up massage business.
Taiwan Reporters visited TMC to learn more about safe Thai massage and better understanding
of available services and school in Chiang Mai.
