The Thai Ministry of Education has approved the following courses:

TMC follows the original Foundation of Thai massage from the result of fifteen year research work by the Thai Massage Revival Project supported by the government. TMC curriculum has been approved by the Thai Ministry of Education with the goal to achieve the teaching in Foundation of Thai Massage to restore life energy, maintain health and wellness by stimulating Sen Sib. TMC integrated health care professional approach to provide relaxation and ensure safety on techniques, hand and body mechanism for both giver and receiver.

Short Courses:
1. Foundation of Thai Massage: Level  I
 
Duration: 30 hours (5 days) Mon - Fri (Class starts every Monday)
Course fee: 7,500 Baht
Note: Student will receive the text book Thai Massage the Thai Way: Healing Body and Mind: Second Edition. If the student needs the workbook in different language, in addition to the text book, there is a fee of 250 Baht for the workbook.
Course description: Whole Body Massage: 151 positions
For learners who wish to acquire original Thai Massage skills for personal benefit and to lay strong foundations for further study at higher levels. Students learn hands-on techniques to relieve tension, fatigue, stimulate circulation, and restore vitality in the entire body through Thai massage pressure points. A brief background of Thai massage ethics and Sensib theory will be discussed.



2. Thai Massage Enhancement: Level II
 
Duration: 30 hours (5 days) Mon - Fri
Course fee: 7,000 Baht
Pre-requisite: Level I at TMC
Note: Workbook available in English, Thai, Chinese and Japanese.
Course description: Wholeness, Fluid Movement & Massage Timing
This course is for student seeking to obtain confidence and strengthen the techniques learned from Foundation of Thai Massage. Teacher assists student to obtain the right speed of massage 151 positions from Level I. Student will learn additional 18 variation techniques in order to make a different pressure effects. Tracing Sen Sib will be shown here.


3. Therapeutic Thai Massage: Level III
 
Duration: 30 hours (5 days) Mon - Fri
Course fee: 7,500 Baht
Pre-requisite: Level I and II at TMC
Notes:
  • Fee for three levels paid in advance is 17,550 Baht (10 % discount)
  • Students will receive the diploma of Traditional Thai Massage Level I,II,III hour curriculum granted by Thai Ministry of Education.

Course description: Treating Ailments Through Pressure Points & Herbal Pack
For advanced hands-on skills in ancient pressure-point massage to relieve common ailments, demonstration of how to apply Thai Massage to special need people i.e. sick person, elderly or a child. Actual making of herbal packs from fresh herbs and the application technique to relieve discomfort and restore energy. Discussion on Thai massage professional ethics.



Special guests: Two veteranians from Chiang Mai University trained how to make and use herbal pack and wooden stick from TMC (Charity), and applied to help the ill baby elephant successfully.



4. Comprehensive Thai Massage 3 Level 90 Hours
Duration: 90 hours (15 days) Mon - Fri (Class starts every Monday)

Course description:
Students learn Level 1-2-3-4 and 5 consecutively or return to continue Level 4 & 5 after taken Level 1-2-3 to complete the program. In this intensive course, students will receive training to integrate all techniques from Level 1-2-3 and additional variation techniques by working under closed teachers supervision to facilitate massage positions with correct sequences, speed, rhythm, and time limit. How to combine Thai massage and Tui Na to relief blockages. Students will have the opportunity to offer real massage services to outside non-paid guests, including massage to special needs for seniors and disabled persons during the field work. Lectures on Theory of Thai massage in depth, professional ethics, massage planning, Anatomy, Cadaver Lab and Pathology are taught during Level 4&5. Students may return to complete GCT program in the future.





6. Intensive Professional Thai Massage 150 Hour Program Level 4-5 (10 days)
 
Duration: 60 hours (10 days) Mon - Fri

Course description:
This is Level 4 and 5 of the 5 weeks programs. This 2 weeks section is for the return students who completed Level 1-2-3 and wish to continue for the Intensive Professional Thai Massage 150 Hour Program. The course content is the same as in #5 above.





Enroll together for 5 levels of Intensive Professional Thai Massage course fee is 37,600 Baht. (Include 10% discount on Level 1-2-3). Graduates of 5 levels will earn diploma of: Intensive Professional Thai Massage 150 Hour Program.

Note:
  • Enrollment of the Intensive Professional Thai Massage program is subject to the availability schedule above and required approved entrance acceptance with the school management.
  • Students returning to take Level 4-5 must complete both levels in order to graduate and receive entrance acceptance approval, and enroll on the available schedule.
  • Graduate of 5 levels (150 hours) may apply to enroll in future GCT 300 program, with entrance approval, by attending 5 additional weeks including teaching training. Student is required to attend a Friday class at Level 1 or 2 prior to the schedule without extra charge. Accepted returned students will earn credit on paid tuition fee (detail upon applying with the school).
