Thai massage for elderly persons, High Risk Thai massage stretching and understanding the risk of Thai massage for high level body stretching, including how to examine a clients physical condition, how to evaluate and plan for appropriate application of Thai massage techniques. Students practice massage techniques under closed supervision with teachers guidance necessary to perform the beautiful and effective art of traditional Thai Massage. GCT interns will learn how to apply Thai massage for disabled children and disabled person and to help train parents of disabled children or adults to use Thai massage for their loved ones at the town where they live, when possible. GCT interns train to teach Thai massage and perform actual teaching five days Foundation of Thai Massage (Level I) under supervision of TMC teachers to community students at no charge to community. Community students come from different backgrounds. They are in need of career change or seek additional income to support their families with Thai massage knowledge. GCT interns may perform teaching training at Juvenile Detention Facility, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. The training helped the teens to gain acceptance of each other and to promote career opportunity to some. GCT interns have trained Thai massage to almost 1,500 community students with impressive results. CLINICAL INTERNSHIP FOR GCT 600 HOUR (PHASE II) IN-CLASS PROGRAM GCT 600 hour will be Phase II of GCT 300 graduates. The graduates will gain more professional practice and teaching experience and will continue teaching training internship at higher level of Thai Massage Enhancement (Level II) and Therapeutic Thai Massage (Level III), Thai Foot Massage and Thai Chair Massage in the campus or at the community when available. Others activities Prayer to the Teachers and Meditation: to calm the mind and gather peace before learning. Yogi Exercise: Background, breathing and different yogi positions to facilitate body flexibility and enhance the flow of life energy. Yoga and Stretching Exercise: to prepare the body for stretching positions. Hands and Knees Exercise: to strengthen them for effective use and preserving health. All classes run from Mon Fri from 9.00 16.00 except cadaver lab may be on weekend. GCT Program fee: 300 hour in-class (Phase I) curriculum: 10 weeks 89,000 Baht 600 hour in-class (Phase II) curriculum: 10 weeks 89,000 Baht NOTE: Study requirement: * GCT study in 2 phases. GCT 300 hours is Phase I; GCT 600 is Phase II * Interest learners of GCT programs must apply and receive acceptance from the school prior to eligibility to enroll to the program. * Applicant will receive, via email, GCT program detail policy, agreement, and inquiry file package. Applicant needs to view the contents carefully and response to the inquiry from the school for the acceptance consideration. Note: Intern is responsible for appropriate clothes during teaching internship to community and massage service at senior home. Diploma of Thai Massage Professional and Teacher Credential Accreditation authorized by the Thai Ministry of Education will be granted to the graduate upon completion of the GCT program. TMC is approved by the Thai Ministry of Education Department and the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affair to grant Education Visa for our GCT student and a long stay visa for the spouse and children. Student will be able to apply at Thai embassies around the world. The applicant will receive a 90 days non-immigrant Education Visa. For continuing of GCT Phase II (600 hour program), student will receive visa extension to cover the entire program. GCT applicant will need to remit a deposit of 20% of the non refundable tuition fee upon requesting for the education visa document. The remittance may be by credit card online or by a bank deposit to the school account and email or fax the bank statement to the school. Upon receiving the deposit, the school will provide needed documents for the embassy and mail to student by registered air mail. The visa process should take a few days. Please locate the Thai embassy in your country or the country where you are by calling your operator for telephone number. Deposit is non-refundable should student unable to attend the scheduled program. The remaining balance to be paid at the school upon starting the program and a refund policy shall apply. Admission requirement to GCT 600 in-class hour program (Phase II): GCT graduates of 300 in-class hour program are equipped with competent knowledge and training ability to perform professional and teach Thai Massage to the public. However, for the graduates who wish to further their training and ability to teach at the higher levels, the school will provide the training in Phase II which provides the graduates of total GCT 600 in-class hour program. The graduates will earn credential to teach, in addition to Phase I, Level II and Level III. The graduates must submit their letter of intention to the school for admission approval by email. The letter should indicate objective, purpose of study and the graduates experience with their practice after graduated. The schedule for Phase II program may be offered only to the returning graduates of GCT 300 in-class hour program. Note: Student of GCT program requires class attendance at least 90% in order to complete the program. For absence more than 10%, with the school approval, student may attend classes to make up for attendance time and pay make up fee. The make up classes will subject to the school's arrangement. Should student requires emergency leave from the country prior to completion of the program, with approval from the school, may arrange for return schedule to join future GCP group within a year. The school will assign student to appropriate week of the future group to complete the program. There will be administrative fee of 10% of the total program fee plus additional increase tuition fee (if any). Understanding of the GCT PROGRAM and the Accreditation in other part of the world: GCT program is the program for students to become professional and teacher in Thai massage. TMC is an accredited school and GCT Program is approved curriculum by the Thai Ministry of Education. The Thai government only accredited schools in Thailand. Other countries around the world will have their own law and regulation according to school accreditation and licensing to a person to become a massage therapist and or to teach massage in particular country. Therefore, the students who interest to learn Thai massage from TMC or any massage schools other than in their countries (even cities) must inquire about the acceptance and licensing to practice massage or to teach with their own local government agency. This is the general understanding apply to all type of profession. Please beware and seek correct information before embark on the massage professional learning. In addition to the accreditation of Continuing Education Provider such as NCBTMB, AAMT, NHPC etc that TMC accreditation will not apply to the GCT graduates once they apply to be affiliated with TMC.
